Driven by Purpose: CMH Foton Hatfield Powers the Jacaranda City Marathon
When thousands of runners take to the streets, it takes more than determination to make every kilometre count. Behind the scenes, teamwork, reliable transport and community support help keep everything moving.
On 24 October 2026, CMH Foton Hatfield proudly joined the Jacaranda City Marathon in Pretoria, bringing the Foton brand into the heart of the action through a partnership with Impact Radio and support at one of the race’s water points.
Keeping the Broadcast Moving
Our partnership with Impact Radio brought another exciting element to the event. CMH Foton Hatfield provided a Foton Tunland G7 Double Cab to tow the station’s mobile outside broadcast unit, supporting their presence at the marathon.
It was a practical demonstration of how Foton vehicles can contribute beyond everyday driving, supporting the people and equipment that help bring an event to life.
Supporting Every Step of the Journey
While runners focused on reaching the finish line, preparation was equally important behind the scenes.
Our Foton panel van assisted with transporting refreshments and gazebos to the water point, helping ensure supplies were in place for the runners.
For CMH Foton Hatfield, this was about putting our vehicles to meaningful use while supporting an event that brings the Pretoria community together.
Where Community and Capability Meet
The atmosphere was filled with energy as runners made their way past the water point, with refreshments and encouragement waiting along the route.
Seeing the Foton branding alongside the action was a reminder that being part of a community means more than simply being present.
